Joel here– Randy and I had an awesome adventure!! We went to the surface and you can repel down some of the deeper craters in K15 suits. It was sooooo much fun. We use the blasters to push off while we hold on to bungee cord. As we shoot out the bungee hits its max and snaps us back to the wall. Granted we had to be very careful not to use too much of the thrust otherwise we would snap the cord. It was super exhilarating. If we tried doing something like that without our suits we would be turned into a gelatinous soup. Anyways I have to head off.
This is Cynthia. I was working in the medical facilities and was assigned a patient to care for. This isn’t anything extraordinary, but the patient was unlike any I had ever worked with before. Their legs had been shattered in some form of mining accident. Usually with that kind of damage people are in agony, which is often accompanied by moaning and groaning, but all he would do was laugh and laugh and laugh. He asked several times if he it needed to be amputated and if so if he could have a peg leg. He always seems to have a joke every time we walk in. In fact we had to wheel him on a gurney for a procedure and he pulled the sheet over his face and people thought we were taking him to the morgue. Is it odd that that moment made my day? It made me think of something that Ryder would do.
Cynthia Out 🙂

Can I just tell you my favorite perk of Demeter? Flying is superb, pranking with upscale technology is also pretty awesome, but the winner is… drum roll please… THE MEDICINE!! I have a cold/ Sinus infection that is awful… I mean I had three different colors coming out of my nose yesterday morning… and they were all colors found on the Italian National Flag. On earth I would get a pat on the back and told (in patronizing tones mind you) to tough it out. But no all i have to do is skip down to medical they give me this stuff that goes in water and 30 seconds later I’m back up and flying. Bless mass advances in medicine. And Cynthia is my hero for tipping me off about it.
Its near Christmas… And the capital of Demeter doesn’t get snow… sooo I decided I needed some snow to feel like it was Christmas. Becky, Cynthia, and I decided to make it a girls day out. I flew a hopper flight (in record time I might add) and then we caught the train. We put on super warm gear and kicked out. We got the weirdest looks from the research teams as we were making snowmen and snow forts. Little did we anticipate the attack. Ryder and his goons (Joel, and Randy) had caught the train behind us and attacked us in our bliss. An all and all war broke out and I white washed Ryder!!! Cynthia and Becky handled Joel and Randy. In the end we all grabbed lots of hot chocolate and some chicken soup with rice and caught the train home… It was an all and all a good day, and now it feels more like Christmas. Nothing brings the spirit of the season like white washing a sibling 🙂
UGH!!! One of the things they don’t tell you when you get your pilot’s license on Demeter is that you have to train some of the new recruits. Ugh is it bad if I’m tempted to sabotage the training craft because I’m pretty sure if I killed my latest trainee I would be doing the world a favor? Lieutenant Haskish has been assigned to me. I have never dealt with such a spoiled brat in my life. She goes from complaining about how she has to share her Demeter sweet with someone to complaining about how the pilot chairs aren’t nearly comfortable enough and how its unfair that she has to get her hands dirty flying because her father lost his political post back home on Crylla. Also I don’t know if I need to sabotage anything Haskish is a terrible pilot she might kill me and herself without any outside interference. I wonder if I should have Ryder run a scenario on that for me.
